2014-12 December Earth Moon and Stars with Kerry Galea easy print

Aries 20 March – 19 April

You will not be still for a second! So much movement! Expect to be travelling on both short and long trips, so don’t run out of physical or emotional energy. This strong “oomph” also applies to your relationships. So use these heightened energy levels constructively by working together, or they will result in tension.

Taurus 20 April – 20 May

Making decisions with loved ones will be easy. And this is the perfect month to let go and release what you don’t need. So it is time to clean and sort. But this is also a time that things can be taken away from you. If so, I suggest you surrender and allow it to happen. Holding on achieves nothing.

Gemini 21 May – 20 June

There is a renewed energy in connecting to others and having long conversations. As a Gemini you will love this! And suddenly it feels right to value a healthy lifestyle and body. And so it’s a perfect month to start new and inspiring habits. Expect to feel heightened emotions around mid-month.

Cancer 21 June – 22 July

There is a focus on learning new information about issues to do with your own health. The mundane realities and routine of life, including your work, will be noticeably just that; work! But it’s a perfect time to be at home with family, and build something together, as harmony will be easy to achieve.

Leo 23 July – 22 Aug

Be prepared to make snap decisions. There is no time to reflect or to ask for more information; make up your mind. And this is a perfect month to be creative and do something enjoyable, or to take a risk. You are an awesome Leo lion, so you can easily be daring!

Virgo 23 Aug – 22 Sep

Your recent high energy levels are fading and you will be tired. Spend a few weeks resting and recuperating. Especially have some time on your own! Demands on your time from your boss, or any authority figure, will lead to heightened emotions. But on the positive side; enjoy leisure time spent with children or younger people.

Libra 23 Sep – 22 Oct

Mars is about to enter Libra and push you to action. Let him inspire and energize you. But you could also find yourself responding in a surprisingly fiery way, especially to unexpected news. Another tense time is at the end of the month, so keep on reminding yourself that you are normally a great negotiator.

Scorpio 23 Oct – 21 Nov

Congratulations, as your sense of purpose and hard work have started to show results. It may have been “heads down and tail up” over the last few months but now you can see that your future has changed. Ask yourself what you now value. And adjust your long-term plans with new goals and dreams.

Sagittarius 22 Nov – 21 Dec

This is a perfect month to learn something new, perhaps even before you realize you need to know! So open your mind and allow the grey matter in your head to work hard! And remember the old saying; “knowledge is power”. Then allow your heart to tell you what to do with the knowledge you gain.

Capricorn 22 Dec – 19 Jan

Authority figures are feeling edgy. They want to push and are looking for someone to push back. Will it be you? And is pushing back the right thing to do? It may help you to know that no matter what you do; they will keep on pushing. So only fight the battles you can win.

Aquarius 20 Jan – 18 Feb

If you needed a time to make what you think is an arduous trip, and to do it easily; then this is the month. You have the spirit of adventure and a delight in experiencing something new. Real change can happen. But it is not a good month if you are involved in legal wrangles.

Pisces 19 Feb – 20 March

There is a new development at work and it’s a great idea to ask questions to find out exactly what people expect of you. Later in the month your debts, or how you have been wasting money and assets, will surprise you. Impulse buying will only get you into trouble.

Moon Garden tips

I moved into a house with a huge overgrown Nectarine tree that needed pruning. I like to reach up and pick fruit; not climb into the heavens on a rickety ladder!

So I cut it back by half on a day perfect for pruning to reduced growth. Then a few days later I pruned the remaining braches on a day perfect to enhance growth and encourage fruit crops.

It worked perfectly!! I love gardening by the Moon.

It will soon be time to prune to reduce growth and if you keep it quiet I will let you know that it is on the 3rd, 4th and 5th. And the 11th and 12th. Shhhhhhh…… Normally only the people with the Super Almanac get this information.

I will be pruning my hedge.

Lunar Timing – The Natural Rhythm of the Moon October 1, 2012

Time it with the Moon!

The phases of the Moon are a metaphor for the phases of our life.

The New Moon is the beginning of a time of expansion and a time to think about all new beginnings, new projects, ideas, activities. This isn’t necessarily a time for action though, rather

a time of rest and reflection, focus and planning.

When you see the crescent moon its time for action! Begin the work & implement the ideas & projects you have been planning. The closer it comes to the Full Moon the stronger we will feel the push to try a little harder and go beyond our expectations. Vitality is nearly at its peak and creativity is heightened.

The Full Moon presents us with the completion and full realisation of what we have achieved or what has happened. It provides clarity, thus we can feel complete and fulfilled, (or we can feel

frustrated and thwarted). The Full Moon is also a time when we are alert to our inner wisdom and can feel a heightened sense of emotions. So without any judgment and with complete

acceptance, give thanks for who you were, who you are, and who you will be.

As the Moon shrinks in visible size the second half of the Moon phase begins. And the energy within us, as with the energy within the plants, is retreating to our core. This evokes a sense of

letting go, of release, and a process of moving away from situations that we have outgrown. It is perfect for working strongly on releasing ourselves from various addictions and difficulties. A time for cleaning diets or cleaning routines, as well as a great time to get your hair cut! It is also a time for learning how to let go. To allow the natural breakdown to occur so that rebirth

and transformation of ideas and feelings can begin again at the Next New Moon.
