What’s that in the sky?
For all you night owls
The constellation is the Scorpion is magnificent. It makes it worthwhile to be outside. If you are out late enough, or early the next day, you will see Jupiter which appears as the brightest star in the east.
For all you early birds
This is the best time as Jupiter and Venus are the brightest stars in the sky. Jupiter is high overhead and Venus is rising in the east. Mars is also visible and is the reddish star about your clenched fist distance away from Venus. The brightest star near Venus will be Aldebaran which is the eye of the bull constellation of Taurus.
